Treatment of singular points
The singular points on a façade are all those points that call into question the continuity of the Cladding. They must be designed in such a way as to prevent water from seeping through, and must be executed with the utmost care.
Preamble
A façade’s singular points can be linear (Cladding start and stop points, expansion joints, intersecting profiles, façade corners, etc.) or punctual (rainwater drains, ventilations, cable passages, window frames, etc.).

How to deal with singular points
Facade singular points can be treated in a number of ways.
The most common solution is to use a cladding profile to cover the product.
CAREA® has developed aesthetic solutions to reduce or eliminate the need for cladding profiles, depending on the product range. These solutions can be produced in the factory or directly on site.
In our online area, you’ll find over 40 data sheets to download, covering most common singular points.
We also offer the production of 3D monobloc parts for high-end, made-to-measure treatments.
