As part of this renovation project, the CAREA® Cladding with backing structure (CWB) system was used for the building’s ITE (Isolation Thermique par l’Extérieur). The Cladding was installed on a concrete wall, with semi-rigid insulation.

The WOOD FINISH finish, now available in the CAREA catalog, was created specifically for this project: to reproduce the surface appearance of the original building, the finish takes the imprint of the wood clapboard used to form the previous concrete façade.

The spandrels were finished with PAPYRUS (crumpled paper), giving substance and relief to this Organic façade.
