The Cladding with backing structure CAREA (CWB) for this media library was created using RHODES cladding with anchors, giving the surface the appearance of slightly crumpled paper. The originality of the façade lies not only in the choice of this finish, but also in the way it is applied and laid out, giving the building an unprecedented aesthetic appeal. The cladding is crossed by multiple diagonals, giving the building a modern, dynamic character.
The CAREA cladding used on the base of this public structure is resistant to impact, graffiti and scratches: it is thick, resistant and non-porous. The façade of the Les Mureaux multimedia library will therefore require little maintenance over the life of the building.
